This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use jasonelectronics.com or contact us, why we use it, and the rights you have.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only as far as necessary with the following categories of recipients:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — operating the website, its content management system and business documents.
  • Content delivery, DNS and security providers — availability and protection of the website.
  • Analytics providers — usage statistics, only after you consent.
  • Email and IT service providers — business email and document storage.
  • Professional advisers and authorities — where required by law, legal process, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

These providers act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

6. International transfers

We are based in Hong Kong, and our service providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in Japan. Where personal data protected by the GDPR or UK GDPR is transferred outside the EEA or the UK, we rely on an adequacy decision or on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (and the UK Addendum where applicable).

  • Analytics data: up to 14 months.
  • Cookie choice: 180 days in your browser, after which we ask again.

8. Security

9. Your rights and contact

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure or restriction, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity, and we respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country.
